Digitalization of Microscope Systems
Our AUTOAIM microscope upgrade transforms normal microscopes to modern, digital microscope systems.
The upgrade package consists of a high-resolution USB3.0 microscope camera, our microscope software AUTOAIM and suitable accessories.
Latest Camera Technology
The provided camera has a resolution of 5 megapixel and can be ordered as monochrome or color camera. The camera sensor with latest CMOS-technology, high sensititvity and extremely low dark noise provides brilliant, detailed and high-contrast images with more than 30 frames per second.

The following unedited microscope images show the structures of electronics boards. Both images were created with a conventional microscope equipped with our AUTOAIM microscope upgrade.
Intuitive Microscope Software
Our microscope software AUTOAIM provides fluent live-images with optional cross-hair and lots of features like fast image acquistion, measurement tools and an export to general data formats.
The camera control allows to adjust the exposure time manually or automatically. Furthermore, the software offers an automatic white balancing for color cameras.
Every image can be zoomed freely for measurements and shows a clearly visible scale bar, which adapts oneself to the zoom level.
Measurements can be done with manual or automatic measurement tools:
- The manual measurement tools consist of point-to-point, line-to-line, angle and circle measurement. These tools are included in the upgrade package.
- The automatic measurement tools to measure circles, long holes and edge distances can be purchased separately.
Working with several images at the same time is possible. The images including the measurements can be saved as raw data and can be loaded again later to continue a measuement task at a later time. Measurement results can be exported to an open CSV format.
AUTOAIM is included in the AUTOAIM upgrade package as single-workstation license with hardware dongle. The software is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 10.
Easy Installation
To install the AUTOAIM microscope upgrade, the camera will be mounted on the C-Mount camera port of your microscope. The included USB-cable and PCI Express interface card connect the camera with the PC. We ensure the compatibility of the provided accessories.
After the installation of the hardware, the software must be calibrated once by the user with the provided micrometer scale. Afterwards the system runs maintenance-free.
Compatibility
The AUTOAIM microscope upgrade package is compatible to all common microscopes with a camera port. Lots of microscopes from Bresser, Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss are working fine with our upgrade package. Some microscopes need a special camera adapter, which can be purchased from us. Please tell us your microscope model and we check the compatibility for you.
